The ‘Delftse Method’ is a communicative learning pathway that suits the needs of language students: understanding, speaking, writing and reading Dutch. Its step-by-step structure with support in the student’s native language allows students of all educational backgrounds to begin at the level desired. The instructions are available in many languages. Students can practice by themselves online.

Adiós Languages mainly uses the ‘Delfste methode‘ for our Dutch courses. Because it is a unique and straightforward method for learning Dutch fast, you will learn the most frequently used words and learn and use 50 new words in each lesson. All lessons are conversation lessons in the target language Dutch.

Before each lesson you study the text with the help of the online environment where you listen, read, learn, repeat and write. This practice prepares you for the conversation lessons. The conversations deal with topics which are familiar to everyone and are useful for day-to-day conversations.

Make sure you reserve the required time (2-3 hours for each lesson) for preparation as it is not possible to attend class without it since you have to put all the newly learned words to practice
